Participants from Gondar City who attended the discussion on the implementation of the 2018 Budget Year Strategic Plan and the Three-Year Transformation Program of the Amhara Region Courts presented a gift to the President of the Amhara Region Supreme Court, Honorable Ato Alemante Agidew, in recognition of his leadership and contribution to judicial reform.
As previously reported, the Amhara Region Supreme Court convened a consultative forum with representatives from various sectors of society and institutions to review the implementation of the 2018 Budget Year Strategic Plan and the achievements of the three-year judicial transformation program.
Among those participating in the forum were representatives from Gondar City.
Speaking during the event, the representatives stated that the comprehensive reform initiatives led by Honorable Ato Alemante Agidew to transform the region's judicial and justice system have produced encouraging and tangible results within a relatively short period. They noted that the President's leadership has become a source of inspiration for institutions and public leaders across the region.
The representatives further emphasized that, while the Gondar City Administration and its residents are working to strengthen the city's status as an ideal place to live and a leading tourism destination, the President has made significant contributions beyond the responsibilities of his office.
They acknowledged his support for initiatives aimed at preserving and promoting Gondar's historical heritage, improving its livability, and enhancing its appeal as a tourist destination.
In recognition of these valuable contributions and his commitment to institutional transformation and public service, the representatives from Gondar City presented a commemorative gift to Honorable Ato Alemante Agidew.
