Bahir Dar, Tikemet 1, 2019 E.C. (Amhara Region Supreme Court)
As previously reported, the National Conference of Legal Interpreters was held in Bahir Dar City.
Following their participation in the conference, the presidents of the Federal Supreme Court and regional supreme courts, including Federal Supreme Court President Hon. Ato Theodros Mihret, as well as the presidents of the appellate courts of the Addis Ababa and Dire Dawa city administrations, visited the islands of Lake Tana and infrastructure projects in Bahir Dar City.
During their visit to Lake Tana, which is renowned for its numerous islands and monasteries, the court presidents visited Kibran Gabriel Monastery. There, they toured the historic church and viewed the cultural and historical treasures preserved at the site.
During their stay in Bahir Dar, the presidents also visited various infrastructure developments across the city, including a tour of Bahir Dar International Stadium.
In addition to the stadium, they viewed other urban infrastructure projects, including the Abay Bridge.
Expressing their admiration for what they had seen, the presidents also conveyed their appreciation for the warm welcome and hospitality extended to them.
