As previously reported, the National Forum of Court Interpreters held its Special Conference in Bahir Dar on September 30, 2019 E.C.
During the conference, which deliberated on and approved the three-year judicial transformation framework to be jointly implemented by the country's courts, a farewell ceremony was held in honor of H.E. Ato Ghazali Abasimal, the former President of the Oromia Supreme Court.
The National Forum of Court Interpreters acknowledged H.E. Ato Ghazali Abasimal's significant contribution, alongside the presidents of the Federal Supreme Court and other regional supreme courts, in advancing the national judicial transformation framework from its initial conceptual stage to its current level of development. The Forum expressed its appreciation for his leadership and commitment to the collective efforts aimed at improving the delivery of judicial services across the country.
The Forum also extended its best wishes to H.E. Dr. Otokana Oda, who succeeded Ato Ghazali Abasimal as President of the Oromia Supreme Court, wishing him a successful tenure. It further conveyed its sincere wishes for success and fulfillment in the former president's future endeavors.
